Application Guide – should I adjust it for clay soil?
Has anyone done a full year round commitment to the application guide? Absolutely loving it. Just wondering if I need to do more/less.
Waimate tends to have very clay rich soil. Do I need to do more/less than the application guide or just trust the process?
The Application Guide is great aye! I've been following it reasonably religiously for a couple of years now. It has all the right inputs at all the right times throughout the year. I'm coastal North Island with sandy soil so can't really comment or relate to your Waimate soil but often with lawns less is more. As in, the Application Guide is enough to maintain a very nice lawn in any soil type. If you're not using Humic+ yet, get some! It's great for clay & sandy soil and enhances soil health.
