Lawn damaged after too much Meso and Etho? Recovery advice welcome.

Lawn has gone gone down hill so bad after I think I accidentally overdosed the lawn on etho and meso.
Any advice, used some charger last week and some seaweed tonight.

What rate did you use? Tank mix? I think it says to try avoiding tank mixing post emergent applications. Especially when lawn is stressed with colder weather and slowed growth. Does that area get much winter sun as that’s probably not helping either. Is this your first winter with that grass type in that area?

@Garry B have had it for a few years now, unsure looking back at the exact amount I used, must have been pretty high for the damage it’s caused, had it looking so nice this year so a real bugger but can’t go back now so just need to hope as much survives as possible and yup a tank mix

Have you thought about pre-germinating some seed since it looks like you’re running rye? Rye does pretty well in lower temperatures, so you could pre-germinate some and spread it over the thin sections to help fill them in quicker. I reckon the rest should slowly bounce back on its own over time too.

@Lance McClure great idea! How do you pre germinate? Yup all lawn is perennial rye

@BuiltByNorthcott hey mate use the category search above there’s a section on it under renovations I think, might be under basics too I can’t remember. A great post from Jonny on there.

@Iain Perry Do you roll out pre germinated seed or lay it down thin and let it grow? Just wondering how it will root down

@BuiltByNorthcott you spread it out. It's in that post?

I agree most of that will bounce back, might want to pre-germinate some seed for these areas.
