Anyone use these compost spreaders?
Hi all,
I’ve been looking at these compost roller spreaders for a while. I like the idea but not sure how they’d work in practice. I’d like to use it occasionally for top dressing with well-aged mulch. Mesh on the roller is 2×1.2cm.
Does anyone have any feedback?

I’ve hired Garden Box’s one here in Chch and they work great for top dressing, especially if you’ve overseeded.
@Eddie P Hey Eddie, do you put seed down before spreading top dress mix in one of these? I always assumed seed went down after top dress mix as spreading the top dress mix around would throw all your seed around. But I've seen a few videos of people putting seed down first and then spreading top dress mix.
I'm planing to top dress in spring, so I'm doing my research now.
