Update the app regularly 👌
Just a quick reminder that we’re regularly pushing updates to the NZLA app as we continue to improve things and fix any little bugs that pop up.
If you don’t have automatic app updates enabled on your iPhone, make sure you head over to the App Store, search for the NZLA app and check whether there’s an update available.
Previously, we could make fixes behind the scenes without you needing to do anything. However, now that we’re on the App Store, certain fixes require us to release a new version of the app.
As we spot bugs or members report them, we get them fixed and push out an update. But you won’t benefit from those fixes until you’ve installed the latest version.
So if you notice something not working quite right, the first thing to do is check that your app is up to date.

Do i still receive your app updates if i have installed the app from the NZLA website via the profile “add to Home Screen”, and not from the app store?
@Nick M If you’re using the PWA version (saved to your Home Screen through your browser), updates are applied automatically whenever we push them out. You don’t need to do anything manually. It’s only the App Store version that requires you to update the app if automatic updates aren’t enabled.
