What’s causing these dead patches in my lawn? Grubs or disease?
Noticed brown/dying areas when mowing today. Grass was dead and the areas thinned out when I gave them a scuff. Had grubs previously but hammered them before the reno. Also had Post emergent etho 3 weeks ago, pre emergent 2 weeks ago and one more post emergent applicaiton a couple of months ago. Lawns also pretty wet.
Have i got grubs again or is it something else?
Disease not grub. Grub damage doesn’t look like that. Photos are too far away to offer any advice on what is going on.
@Garry B thanks. Will have a look at Jonnys write up and get some better photos when i can.
Have a look first thing in the morning before the sun hits it. If you can see white, cotton-like mycelium over that area, that's a strong sign of fungal disease. It disappears quickly as the dew dries off. I've recently written a range of disease articles on the Lawn Tips section of the website that you might find useful.
Fusarium patch is very common this time of the year, there's an article on that here:

@Jonny Hicks thanks. There's some good info on there that sounds like it covers what Ive got going on. Looks like I've got a bit of work to do
