It delivers fast greening, sustained feeding over 6 to 8 weeks, and a deep colour response from the iron.
The NPK ratio is built for lawns: high nitrogen at 24% drives growth and colour, very low phosphorus at 1% keeps things balanced for established turf, and 14% potassium builds the cell strength that helps grass handle heat, drought, and wear. The 5% iron is what takes the colour from decent to genuinely good, deepening the green without pushing excessive top growth.
The PCSCU coating technology releases nutrients consistently rather than dumping everything at once. That means fewer surge growth periods, less mowing in the weeks after application, and lower risk of scorch, even in warm conditions.
Description
LawnFuel runs on PCSCU technology: polymer and sulphur-coated urea. The coating controls how quickly nitrogen releases into the soil, which is what separates it from cheaper granular fertilisers that flush quickly and leave nothing behind after a few weeks. With LawnFuel you get 6 to 8 weeks of sustained feeding from a single application, with a release pattern that follows soil temperature and moisture rather than just dissolving on contact with water.
The NPK is 24-1-14, which is a standard professional turf ratio. Phosphorus is kept low because established lawns don’t need much and excess phosphorus can encourage weed competition. The nitrogen and potassium are the working nutrients: nitrogen for growth and colour, potassium for root strength, stress tolerance, and disease resistance through summer and winter.
The 5% iron is worth understanding properly. Iron doesn’t feed the lawn in the same way NPK does; it drives chlorophyll production, which deepens leaf colour and gives grass that dark, dense look you see on well-maintained sports surfaces.
Apply in spring as the lawn comes into active growth, and again in autumn to support root development going into cooler months. For lawns that need more frequent attention, it can be applied every 6 to 8 weeks through the growing season.
Application
Spread evenly at 2 kg per 100 m² using a broadcast or drop spreader for accuracy. Do not apply this product by hand throwing, purchase an inexpensive hand-held spreader for even results.
Watering in
Water thoroughly straight after spreading to activate the nutrients and move granules off leaf surfaces. Granules sitting on damp or dry grass in warm or damp conditions can cause scorch.
Timing
Apply during active growth, spring and autumn are the key windows. Avoid applying in the heat of summer unless you can water in immediately and reliably, or during periods of very slow growth when the lawn can’t take up nutrients efficiently.
