When should I remove the frost cloth off my new lawn?

Here’s my MDR after 12 days of seeding.

Experienced a bit of the cyclone, with rain and wind for a few days. Forecast is looking okay for Wellington over the next days, so wanted to see if it’s worth keeping it on, or removing it?

Pull it off, give the grass a little pull if it’s nice and rooted which it looks like it is, give it a light mow. Just take the tops off to encourage it to push energy in to tillers.

Did you pull it off? At 75 mm you’re well past the point where the cloth is helping. Frost cloth does its job in the germination window. Once you’ve got established shoots that length, it’s more likely to cause problem like shading, humidity, airflow restriction, potential for disease. I’d be pulling it off and giving that a mow now.

Frost cloth is off 17 days post germination. After a mow, what’s next? Iron? N+

@KM Charger and Liquid Starter would be my go to! Wait 6 hours after mowing before applying foliar products though.
