Lawn Master back lapping
Has anyone got experience with back lapping an older Lawn Master 400. Doesn’t seem like it is straight forward or is it a waste of time and should just get a grind?

Hey mate, I have a bit of experience with the older Lawn Master, bit of a muck around but this was my solution. The bolt threads into the bottom cog (as seen in picture) giving the ability to reverse the reel for back lapping.
M16 x 1.5 x 30 - M16 is the closest to 5/8” UNF

I also bought a left hand tap for it too but the bolt just went straight in no issues so didn’t use it!
I tried a bunch of local fastener shops in CHCH for left hand threaded bolts there was nothing around, so I looked into the AliExpress option and it didn’t disappoint me.
