NZLA Application Guide
NZLA’s application guide is essential for lawn addicts everywhere. It’s widely used by our customers across New Zealand and includes easy to follow instructions on the optimal application rates for our products and when to use them, including granular fertilisers, foliar feeders and insecticide treatments.
All products should be applied a minimum of 6 hours after mowing, when temperatures do not exceed 25°C.
Avoid mowing for 24 hours after application.
If products don't state irrigation after application below or on the label then they are foliar feeds and are left on the plant. Apply to dry foliage.

January - Week 1
Tank mix in 5L of water:
NZLA Wetter 250ml. Follow application with 15-20mm of irrigation
The following day/s tank mix in 5L of water:
Root Health 50ml, Humic+ 50ml & NZLA Iron+ 200ml
January - Week 2

Tank mix in 5L of water:
NZLA Iron+ 200ml & Liquid N 350ml
Liquid N needs irrigation within 24 hours after application. Allow products to be absorbed by the foliage first as they're foliar feeds. Generally 6-8 hours will be enough time.

Apply Grub+ at 15ml per 100m2.
Follow application with 3-6mm of irrigation unless treating for caterpillars such as Porina where irrigation should be delayed for 24 hours.

Liquid Boost 200ml
March - Week 4
Apply NZLA All Seasons 2kg, followed by 5-7mm of irrigation.
March - Week 5
April - Week 1

Once foliage is dry, tank mix in 5L of water:
Liquid Boost 200ml & Root Health 50ml
October - Week 1/2
Grub+ 15ml
Follow application with 3-6mm of irrigation unless treating for caterpillars such as Porina where irrigation should be delayed for 24 hours. This product is applied now to prevent damage from grubs/Porina in late December - March. (Apply again 6 months after this application).
October - Week 3
Apply NZLA All Seasons N+ 2kg, followed by 5-7mm of irrigation.
The following day/s tank mix in 5L of water:
Humic+ 50ml & Root Health 50ml
October - Week 4
Tank mix in 5L of water:
Liquid Boost 200ml & Root Health 50ml
October- Week 5
November - Week 1
Tank mix in 5L of water:

November - Week 2
