NZLA Moss – Lawn Moss, Lichen and Algae Control

NZLA Moss is a professional-grade moss and algae control product designed to keep lawns, garden beds, and hard surfaces clean and healthy.

Key benefits

  • Controls moss, lichen, algae and liverwort on lawns and garden surfaces
  • Works quickly – moss and lichen begin to die within hours under good conditions
  • Suitable for use on lawns, driveways, paths, and patios
  • Safe for most established lawn types including ryegrass, fescue, couch, kikuyu and buffalo
  • Doesn’t stain concrete, pavers or stone when used as directed

How it works

NZLA Moss contains a fast-acting biocide that kills micro-organisms on contact. It penetrates moss and algae cells, breaking down their structure and causing rapid die-off. It’s absorbed quickly, usually within 5 to 15 minutes for moss and within hours for lichen and algae.

The product forms a protective surface layer that helps slow regrowth and keeps lawns and hard surfaces cleaner for longer.

Application directions

  • Lawn application: Mix 200-500ml in 10L of water, covers 100m²
  • Lawn 20–50 mL of product in 1L of water and apply evenly over 10 m².

Application notes

The lower end of the rate (around 200 mL per 10 L water) is suitable for light or early-stage moss growth, where you’re mainly aiming to suppress and prevent regrowth. The higher rate (around 500 mL per 10 L) is intended for heavy, well-established moss where you need stronger surface coverage and deeper penetration to get full desiccation and kill.

DO NOT TANK MIX – Low mixing compatibility.
