NZLA NURTURE – Liquid Fertiliser for Turf in New Zealand

Introduction

NZLA NURTURE is a base organic liquid fertiliser with a balanced NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) profile. It supports steady turf growth and is designed for professional turf and home lawns in New Zealand.

Technology

NZLA NURTURE is a dynamic liquid fertiliser that activates plant growth while releasing nutrients trapped in the soil. Its formulation includes humates, kelp, beneficial fungi, and natural plant nutrients. These components work together to:

• Increase root mass and stimulate active root hairs.
• Support recovery from turf stress caused by drought or heat.

VM3 Organics + Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae (VAM)

This fertiliser delivers nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium through the exclusive VM3 organics blend, supplemented with VAM (Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizae).

VAM is a beneficial symbiotic fungi that can colonise up to 80% of the turf’s root mass. The fungal hyphae extend deeper into the soil than root hairs, improving access to hard-to-reach nutrients. VAM also helps dissolve bound elements such as phosphorus and trace minerals, making them available to the plant.

Research shows that VAM improves turf resilience and recovery during periods of water stress.

Foliar application

For best results:

• Apply 400–600 mL per 100 m², mixed with 2–5 L of water per 100 m².
• Repeat applications every 14–28 days as needed.

Mixing and application

NZLA NURTURE is highly effective for turf establishment and renovation. It is especially useful in sand-based profiles, where regular applications help retain essential soil nutrients near the root zone.

The fertiliser can be applied with:

• Garden sprayers
• Fertigation units
• Fertispray systems

Storage and shelf life

Because this liquid fertiliser contains living microbes, it should be used within 10–12 months for maximum benefit. After this period, the NPK content remains, but microbial activity declines.

Store the product in a cool, dark location to preserve quality.
